How to make the sims 2 university work after mounting it with daemon tools?

Well i (shamefully) downloaded the sims 2 university and nightlife. I mounted the university on then the nightlife but when i play the nightlife it doesn’t read the university so really i am only playing the sims 2 nightlife. how do i get the the sims 2 university work...

I installed sims 2 university onto my computer but didnt back up my sims 2. now that ive lost the sims 2 university i cant play sims 2 anymore because i think its ‘unreadable’. WHAT DO I DO!
