How do I play The sims 2 on computer without using the sims 2 seasons disc first?
I have mostly all of the sims 2 expansion games. I lost disc one of the sims 2 seasons game. I try to use open for business or nightlife or university but it says i must have seasons disc one in. How come i cant use any of the others?

To run sims 2 you need to have the most up to date expansion pack. Because seasons is the latest one you have you cannot run of an earlier expansion pack. You can either
a. Look really REALLY hard for your disk
b. Install a later expansion pack like Bon Voyage, Freetime, Appartment Life and Mansion & Garden Stuff
c. Uninstall seasons which will reset your game and allow you to play off your Open for Business
My advice: Look absolutely everywhere

I experienced that.
Borrow sims 2 seasons. Find the crack of seasons and replace it in TSBin folder in The Sims 2 Seasons directory

Download the crack of The Sims 2 Seasons in any sites. Replace it in TSBin.

the only way for you to be able to play your game, is to either uninstall seasons, which sucks to have to do. then use the disk for the EP that came out before that one, which is OFB [open for business].
OR, you can get a newer EP [like Bon Voyage, Freetime, or Apartment Life] or one of the Stuff Packs that came out after Seasons [Celebration, H&M, Teen, Kitchen and Bath, Ikea, or Mansions and Garden].
Basically the game will not let you use an older CD to run your game if you have a newer expansion or stuff pack installed.

You must have the most recent game to play. If you were to buy apartment life now and installed it you could use that to play. Any game that was released after seasons can be used instead of the seasons disc.

hmm. sounds fishy, if you don’t have disc one of the seasons expansion, you would have to uninstall seasons completely from your computer, doing this, you wouldn’t be able to have that expansion on your computer for the game. if this works let me know! and maybe you can answer my question about the sims 2 store(:

Because Seasons is the most up-to-date sims game you have. You must use that one to play. I’m not sure why. All I can say is search EVERYWHERE for the disc…if not you need to uninstall Seasons or buy it again to play at all…sorry.
