Can I still play the Sims 2 Open for business expansion?

I meet all of the requirements except one. It calls for a T&L capable video card which I do not have. I have the Intel Extreme Graphics (82845). It says that if you have a Non T&L capable card that you would need to have a 2.4 processor. Though I only have a 2.2 processor. Will this cause it to not work at all? What’s going to happen here? Can I still play?
So what will happen if I try?

    no you cant, sorry. make sure that its asking that for the requirements and not the recommended
