My sims 2 isnt working after i installed sims 2 university! how do i fix it?
I installed sims 2 university onto my computer but didnt back up my sims 2. now that ive lost the sims 2 university i cant play sims 2 anymore because i think its ‘unreadable’. WHAT DO I DO!

just so you know im not talking out my butt i work for ea in their call center and deal with this all the time here is your answer………one you installed the game it changed the way the game was saved and now all you can do is remove the saved game and start over or buy the missing game again unless you have a sims 2 game after the missing exp like h and m or apt life then the game would run off that disk but it would have to be the game that was released after the missing game so 3 choices
1. start over
2. buy the missing game again
3. buy another later game

ive had Sims2, university and night life for about 9 months now and its worked prefectly fine, but yesterday i clicked on the short cut and it got to the neighbourhood part and stopped and closed…so i tried restarting my computer and that didnt work. It’s still not working today and my little brother likes to go on it, i promised i would fix it for him…please help?!

There are 2 things that i think your talking about
1. When you go to open the sims2 shortcut it wont do anything
For this all you have to do is don’t click it, when you install an expansion pack you have to click on that expansion shortcut instead of the sims2 shortcut.
2. When you click the shortcut it does nothing
A- you can go and click on the windows button (bottom left the big one) and go to programs, scroll down to sims and pick that
B. If that ^^^ didn’t work or if that was what you where talking about then completely uninstall sims2 and the expansion… Sorry there is no other way to do it! you then have to reinstall it, you will loose your games but at least the game in all will work. You will be able to enter the keycode on the game book again and just reinstall all of your expansions and Sims2.
