In the Sims 4, you can earn Satisfaction Points by completing Whims (Wants) and by leveling up your Sim’s Aspirations similar to Sims 3 Lifetime points system.

Sims 4 Traits you can redeem at the Rewards Store

The sims 4 Lifetime Point for new Traits and potionsTraits provide a permanent effect and can be rewarding. My first buy was The Steel Bladder trait, then the Speed Reader as my Sim needed to read a lot of books for career advancement and the Gym Rat.

It seems to be quite hard to earn Satisfaction Points so use them wisely. I have not wasted them on Potions as they are many more I want to get for my Sim.
